What is ‘Credit Report’?

Modified on Tue, 16 Aug, 2022 at 6:28 AM

A Credit Report is a summary of all the credit lines, loans and credit card history reported by banks and NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies). The banks and NBFCs share this data with all the four Credit Bureaus – Experian, TransUnion (CIBIL), Equifax & CRIF Highmark, which then create the Credit Report.
