The applicability of cancellation charges depends on whether the cancellation was initiated by AirAsia India or by you.
In case, the flight was cancelled by AirAsia:
A. Full cancellation
1. Entire amount will be credited back to your account as per the original payment mode(s). Transaction amount refunded will include base fare, taxes etc. You won’t have to pay any cancellation charges
2. In case multiple payment modes were used to make the booking (Partial payment via cards, rest by NeuCoins), the entire refund amount will be split as per the original payment modes
3. In case you used NeuCoins to make the booking, all the used NeuCoins will be refunded back to your account
B. Partial Cancellation
1. The refund amount will include base fare, taxes etc. No cancellation charges will be deducted
2. While issuing the refund, the amount spent at PNR level will be equally distributed among all passengers
3. In case you used NeuCoins to make the booking, all the used NeuCoins will be refunded back to your account
In case, the cancellation is initiated by you:
A. Full cancellation
1. Cancellation charges will be deducted for each passenger
2. Entire booking amount including base fare, taxes etc., will be refunded post deduction of cancellation charges
3. In case the payment was done entirely with NeuCoins, cancellation charges will be deducted, and the remaining value will be refunded back to your account as NeuCoins
4. In case the payment was partly made using NeuCoins (payment with NeuCoins + other payment modes), cancellation charges will be deducted from all payment modes proportionately (Ratio in which payment modes were used in the original payment). After deducting NeuCoins towards cancellation charges, the remaining NeuCoins will be refunded back to your account.
B. Partial Cancellation
1. Cancellation charges will be deducted from the refund amount
2. The refund amount will include base fare, taxes etc.
After deducting NeuCoins towards cancellation charges, the remaining NeuCoins will be refunded back to your account
In this scenario, TPM should refer to the original redemption amount apportioned at pax level). NeuCoins remaining after deducting apportioned cancellation charges will be refunded back to customer’s account
