Activation of international transaction is mandatory before paying to an international merchant. User can activate/de-activate international transaction on individual account level (accounts which are added on Tata Pay UPI).

That’s easy. You can activate/de-activate international transaction on your individual account

i.e., accounts which are added on Tata Pay UPI.

At the time of activation you can choose the start date and end date of the activation period. The activation period cannot be more than 90 days (this may change in the future as per NPCI guidelines).

You can activate international transactions on a bank account by following either of the steps mentioned below:

1. Scan international QR -> Check QR details -> Click on ‘Proceed’ CTA -> Confirm bank account -> Click on ‘Pay’ -> International transaction activation modal will appear -> Select activation period -> International transaction will be enabled for the selected account and you will be able to proceed with the transaction

2. Go to Tata Pay home page -> Click on UPI card -> Click on three dots on the respective bank account card -> Click on ‘Activate international’ -> International transaction activation modal will appear -> Select activation period -> International transaction will be enabled for the selected account.
