Am I entitled to a compensation if I lost my baggage when I travelled with Air India Express?

In the event of loss or damage to your baggage, the airline's liability is limited to SDR 17 (or equivalent local currency) per kilo of checked-in baggage, provided, loss of baggage has been reported to the airline, prior to leaving the customs enclosure and if it is not traced after 21 days of travel.
